I don't know if after the NYT, praise is unnecessary, but Boichik in my Elmwood neighborhood reminds me of the best bagels I grew up eating in Los Angeles. I've been utterly disappointed with bagels outside of LA, so, thank you for that.
I just finished a pumperthingel with Calabrian Cream Cheese. I was skeptical, but I don't like to make decisions on Sunday mornings so I ordered the Daily Special. It was so good that I ate the overspill on the wrapper. It said that it was a limited special. I'm just lobbying for an enduring run - that's all.
After it's gone, I will just experiment with Pink CC and La Bomba.
You rule.

Larkspur store opening

Targeting Tuesday 11/7 for our Larkspur Opening. This will be our first "Outpost" concept (no oven) with bagels baked at the factory and sent over every day!
Kudos to the drivers!
Someone came up to me today, said she is a huge fan, and also that last Christmas she was out somewhere when our truck went by her (very slowly I guess), she waved and made a heart at it, and the driver stopped, popped out, and handed her a few bagels. She said it was an awesome holiday memory!
